The New York Philharmonic Principal Brass Quintet enjoys worldwide exposure and an international reputation. The Quintet — featuring Principal Trumpet Philip Smith, trumpet player Ethan Bensdorf, Principal Horn Philip Myers, Principal Trombone Joseph Alessi, and Principal Tuba Alan Baer — has hosted an annual holiday concert at Lincoln Center since 1995. They are a favorite in the community including the fact that Joe Alessi lives in Nyack.

Erika Nickrenz and Sara Sant'Ambrogio from the award winning Eroica Trio come to Rockland County for an enchanting evening of music. The first all-female chamber ensemble broke the mold, establishing themselves in the vanguard of a new generation of classical artists. They have performed all over the world, from Vienna to Carnegie Hall. The Eroica's special evening in the historic First Reformed Church of Nyack, will feature a glorious selection of chamber music favorites, sure to be enjoyed by all.

Nyack, N.Y.--March 5, 2012--ArtsRock, a Rockland County, NY not-for profit arts organization, is pleased to announce the appointment of its 2012 Board of Directors. ArtsRock announced that Joe Morley was appointed as the Board President.
“Our emergence as an independent arts organization comes at a time when our mission is more vital than ever. With funding for all types of discretionary programs being cut in our communities and in our schools, ArtsRock will continue to bring professional live entertainment to audiences that might otherwise not have such access. I am honored to be chosen to lead the first ArtsRock corporate board towards this goal,” said Morley.

Mr. Morley is the Partner/Executive Producer at Studio on Hudson in Nyack, NY, an independent feature film production company. He is co-executive producer of the 2008 Sundance Award winning film Anywhere USA

Mr. Karr is an entrepreneur who contributes his talents and resources to his community. Professionally, he founded and is the CEO of The Center for Allied Health & Nursing Education, a post-secondary institution providing nursing education through five campuses in New Jersey and Florida. Mr. Kennedy graduated with degrees in both Marketing and Management, followed by a MBA, and became an employee of HSBC where he is still currently employed.
