The history of music for the movies features a long and glorious panorama of great composers. In addition, film has been marked by scores of devoted collaborations between director and composer. Peabody Award-winning Broadcaster, WQXR Classical Music Radio Host and ArtsRock Executive Artist Director explores these collaborations with over 40 film clips from some of the most iconic movies ever made. This fast-paced evening is filled with fun trivia, musical favorites and surprises.

Tony Award-winning actor Harvey Fierstein took center stage in Nyack Saturday night to kick off Pride Month. "I didn't want to be in theater, but I wanted to meet Andy Warhol," said the four-time Tony Award winner at Nyack High School during the presentation called "Harvey Fierstein in Conversation with Elliott Forrest." Forrest is the executive artistic director of the Rockland County-based nonprofit, artsrock.org.
