Much-loved actress Joyce Bulifant makes a rare stage appearance in Nyack with her one-person show filled with music, images and personal stories about her mother-in-law, Nyack's own Helen Hayes. Joyce is remembered for her recurring role on THE MARY TYLER MOORE SHOW and was married to Helen Hayes' son JAMES MACARTHUR, remembered for his role on HAWAII FIVE-O.

This production coincides with the designation of PRETTY PENNY, Ms. Hayes Nyack home, as a Literary Landmark, and is part of Nyack's Phoenix Festival. Followed by a Q&A with Richard Skipper.

This event will include the dedication of a special marker designating Pretty Penny as a Literary Landmark. Special guests will share fond memories of Helen Hayes, Charles MacArthur, and their beautiful Nyack home. The marker will be dedicated, and a champagne reception will follow. Literary Landmarks is a program of United for Libraries, a division of the American Library Association.
